Yes it is legal. But it will void your warranty (of course you can always restore the iPod). If you buy a bike its not illegal to change the tires nor would it to be changing the software on your iPod.. its not like your stealing anything or accessing any illegal files of any sort.

ok so jailbreaking a ipot is not illegal but it voids ur warranty. If anything bad happens u can restore b4 u send it in and they will never know
now the sdk software developers kit is coming out in FRB so it is no longer necessary to jailbreak

Jadu, förutom att allt från större magazine till mindre forum säger att Jailbreaking inte är olagligt så kan man tänka lite själv..

Detta kanske är en dålig jämförelse men visar sin poäng ändå.

Att om du laddar ned uTorrent(BitClient) fast du INTE laddar ned något så gör du inget olagligt eller hur? Lite såsom Jailbreaking är, att jailbreaka är inte olagligt, men vissa saker som du kan göra sen b.l.a. 3'd party mjukvaror kan vara olagliga. hoppas du ser min poäng lol.
